Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water Customer Challenge Group
Cynnal Cymru-Sustain Wales provide a secretariat service for Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water’s Customer Challenge Group.
The CCG provide independent challenge, scrutiny and advice to ensure that current and future customers are at the heart of the way Welsh Water operates. They provide input for the business plans for 2020 to 2025 to ensure that they are developed to meet the needs of customers, including those in vulnerable circumstances.
The CCG is an independent panel of people from across the area that we serve and bring with them knowledge and experience from varied backgrounds. As well as providing independent challenge to Wales’ only water company, they also provide assurance to one of their regulators, Ofwat. Members include organisations representing vulnerable and older people, Welsh Local Government Association, business and regulatory bodies.
Cynnal Cymru’s secretariat service includes:
- Organising and minuting meetings
- Managing online platforms including section of this website
- Report writing and formatting
- Any other secretarial or organisational service required by the client
