20 – 23 July | Green Recovery Wales
Green Recovery Wales – A virtual festival of farming, food and nature, is an innovative forum for farming and land management, sustainable food systems and the climate and ecological crises. This four-day event will take place from 20th – 23rd July and will also champion a post C-19 Green Recovery, the well-being of this and future generations and a sustainable Wales.
The festival includes online, interactive panel events and discussions, demonstrations, blogs, vlogs and a marketplace where you can learn more about the environmental and farming bodies taking part. It will also include lots of opportunities across the four days for wider public engagement, including children’s activities.
Each day is themed with day 1 focusing on Green Recovery, day 2 on Future Food Systems, day 3 on Nature-based Solutions and day 4 The Way Forward.
Covid-19 and Brexit present significant challenges to Wales: we also believe they serve to underline the need for change and provide the opportunity to adopt new ways of thinking and working that will secure a sustainable future for this and future generations and the nature on which we all depend. We hope that Green Recovery Wales will help move Wales towards this sustainable future.
