16 July | Cynnal Coffee Club: Promoting Fair Work
Cynnal Coffee Club is a series of monthly online conversations to share learning and explore positive actions we can take forward to ensure a more resilient and sustainable future.
Each month we will be inviting a guest host to set the scene, before inviting everyone to have their say on the challenges and opportunities they face now and in the future.
Join us on Thursday 16 July from 10-10:45am to discuss: Promoting Fair Work
This is the third in a series of discussions around ‘Fair Work’:
What is the definition of Fair Work? How does this fit with the green recovery and the need for a just transition?
Fair work is where workers are fairly rewarded, heard and represented, secure and able to progress in a healthy, inclusive environment where rights are respected.
We have previously discussed the need for a real Living Wage for social care workers and in other areas of the Foundational Economy. We hope to build on this discussion and also look at how employers can ensure the other dimensions of Fair Work are met.
How you can join the discussion
To ensure the opportunity for everyone to have their say, we are keeping these events small and we will be encouraging participation from a range of different businesses and organisations.
If you would like to join the conversation or support our work in any way, please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org
We will be publishing upcoming events in the events calendar, so please get in contact if you would like to be involved.
