The fundraiser will take place from 8.30am until 12pm, you’re welcome to stay for the duration or just pop by.
Across Wales thousands of people experience domestic abuse, sexual violence, and other forms of violence against women. For 40 years, the Welsh Women’s Aid movement has been at the forefront of supporting survivors of abuse and campaigning for change.
Welsh Cakes for Welsh Women’s Aid is a fundraising and awareness campaign that marks 40 years of Welsh Women’s Aid, from its beginnings in 1978.
As part of this, people across Wales are holding cake sales, each aiming to raise £40 for 40 years of Welsh Women’s Aid. The money will help the charity continue this vital work.
“There is no one type of woman who experiences this. It’s everywhere, in every part of the community and every community.” – Survivor
