Cynnal Cymru – Leading the way to a Sustainable Future

We have an excellent line up of speakers at our Sustain Wales event on 22 January at the prestigious Cardiff City Hall. The event marks the launch of the Sustain Wales Fund and a series of Awards both of which are highlighted by our new branding and website which represents the four key areas which underpin Cynnal Cymru and our view of sustainable development:

Society

Economy

Culture

All within the limits of the Environment

The event will be hosted by TV and radio comedian and bestselling author, Tony Hawks.

We are pleased to confirm speakers from Global industries that strive to improve their sustainable development journey as well as local organisations that have best practice to share in the fields of culture and society:

Carl Sargeant AM, Minister for Natural Resources
Steve Kenzie, Director UN Global Compact UK
Joe Franses, Director Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability, Coca Cola Enterprises
Ian Isaac, CEO, NSA Afan
Nick Capaldi, Chief Executive, Arts Council of Wales
Mark Wilson, Interface Sustainability Ambassador

Many people and organisations are doing great things in Wales, under the umbrella of sustainable development. It is the intention of Cynnal Cymru – Sustain Wales to highlight this, to praise the achievements and continue to support good and best practice.

We are therefore launching the Sustain Wales Awards and the Sustain Wales Fund at the event in preparation for both to be active this year.

There will be an opportunity for the press to interview speakers after the event. For more information please contact clare@cynnalcymru.com 02920 192021
