Welsh rugby star opens the Sustain Wales inaugural Awards

We are pleased to announce that Wales international rugby union player Hallam Amos who also plays for Newport Gwent Dragons will be joining us at the Sustain Wales Awards on the 19th November 2015 at 6.30pm

In September, Hallam was selected to play in the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

Culture is an important part of sustainability and in Wales; sport plays a huge part in our culture – rugby in particular.  We are very pleased to have the Wales Millennium Centre as both a Sponsor and a finalist at this year’s Sustain Wales Awards.

The Stadium was awarded ISO20121 the International Standard for Sustainable Events in 2012 in preparation for the Olympics.

This year we launched the first Sustain Wales Awards to celebrate the fantastic work that individuals and organisations are achieving under the umbrella of sustainable Development. We received over 60 applications from across the eight categories, and our expert judging panel selected 26 inspirational applications for the shortlist.

The public vote took place between 4 September – 9 October (with nearly 5000 votes) and the eight category winners will be announced at the Sustain Wales Awards at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff on 19 November.

Join us for an evening of inspiration and celebration at our green carpet Awards Evening Ceremony at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff Bay. Ticket includes drinks, nibbles and networking.

Tickets are £20 for Cynnal Cymru members and £25 for Non-members.
