By booking onto a Cynnal Cymru event, training course or webinar you are agreeing to these terms and conditions on which we supply training services to you and these can include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Instructor led workshops held at a specified location;
  • Online or distance learning – training courses or programs that can be purchased, accessed and/or completed online;
  • Blended learning a hybrid of online training and hands on instructor led workshops at a specified location;

  • Written training manuals and other documentation;

We make every effort to make sure that the description of the services on our website are as accurate as possible, but it may sometimes be required to make minor changes.

We will use the personal information you provide to us:

  • to supply the services to you;
  • to process your payment for the services; and
  • to inform you about similar services that we provide, but you may stop receiving these at any time by contacting us.
Users are solely responsible for ensuring that they have sufficient and compatible hardware, software, telecommunications equipment and Internet service necessary for use of this site.

To purchase any course or class, you may either checkout through the website (via WooCommerce), or you can make a direct booking by contacting training@cynnalcymru.com and discussing your needs with one of the team.

Individual bookings
After purchasing a course either for yourself or on behalf of others, you will need to create an account to enable you to access the course. Each student will need an individual account.

Group Bookings – Private Courses
For group bookings either purchased online or via a direct booking, you will be provided with a group account where the booking lead / account manager will be able to ‘enroll’ and manage student via a group portal.

Joining instructions
Joining instructions will automatically be sent via email prior to the event, training course or webinar confirming the date, start/finish times and any course or event requirements as applicable. This will also include details of IT platforms, links, venues, directions etc.

If you have not received these at least 3 days ahead of the session. Please check your spam folder first before contacting us at training@cynnalcymru.com.

The price of the Services will be the price set out on our website or otherwise agreed in writing with you prior to your purchase of the Services.

Unless otherwise specified at the time you purchase the Services the Fees are exclusive of VAT or other local taxes.

Delegate fees contribute towards the costs of delivering courses or events including research, administration, venues, catering, speakers, IT platforms and materials. It also helps us generate income to research and deliver other activities to help accelerate progress towards sustainable development.

NB: For Carbon Literacy courses, there is an additional £10 administration fee (inclusive of VAT) per participant for those who wish to receive a certificate from the Carbon Literacy Foundation.

You agree to pay the fees for courses that you purchase, and you authorise us to charge your debit or credit card or process other means of payment for those fees. Cynnal Cymru works with third party payment processing partners to offer you the most convenient payment methods in your country and to keep your payment information secure.

For individual course bookings, payment can be made directly through the website.

For group course bookings, the following payment terms shall apply:

Existing clients
• Completion of online booking form*
• Payment of at least 50% deposit prior to start of course
• Balance of course fees due no later than 7 days following course completion

New clients
• Completion of new client form
• Completion of online booking form*
• Payment of at least 50% deposit prior to start of course
• Balance of course fees due no later than 7 days following course completion

*Group booking dates and prices will need to be agreed in advance with course administrator

Cancellations or postponement of training can only be accepted by Cynnal Cymru in writing.

Whilst we try to keep costs as low as possible, we do incur charges for processing bookings and payments that we need to recover. In the event of postponement, fees will be returned in full minus a £10 booking fee. In the event of cancellation by delegates, the following will apply:

Distance-learning courses

  • If you have purchased an Online Course and have already accessed, downloaded all or part of the Online Course and/or started to use that Online Course then you shall have no right to cancel your order.
  • Four days or more prior to the event – refund of course fee minus £10 administration and booking fee.
  • Three days or less (or failure to attend) – 100% of course fee payable
    Events and physical training sessions.
  • Up to eight days before the event – refund of event or course fee minus £10 administration and booking fee.
  • Seven days or less (or failure to attend) – 100% per cent of fee payable

Cancellations by Cynnal Cymru.

There may be times when the cancellation of courses or events is unavoidable, and we reserve the right to do so. All fees will be returned in full should this happen.

  • The training material is the sole property of Cynnal Cymru.
  • The training material has been prepared, maintained, updated and distributed by Cynnal Cymru.
  • The use of the training material on our courses is restricted to the registered user who has been supplied with the log in details.
  • Access will be given to the online and e-learning material from purchase and for a fixed registration period, outlined on your application form.
  • We reserve the right to refuse access at our sole discretion.
  • The Registered User shall not copy, share, modify, transmit, distribute, or in any way, exploit the copyrighted materials provided by Cynnal Cymru other than for their own individual training. Use for any other purpose is expressly prohibited by law and any violators will be prosecuted.
  • The Registered User shall not permit anyone else to copy, use, modify, transmit, distribute, or in any way, exploit the copyrighted materials. The materials made available by Cynnal Cymru are provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind, either expressed, or implied, including, but not limited to, all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title or non-infringement.
  • Cynnal Cymru does not warrant that the materials will be error free including technical inaccuracies, nor free of viruses, or other harmful matter. The entire cost of any necessary service, repair, or correction, is the Registered User’s responsibility.
  • Cynnal Cymru may make improvements, or changes, to this material at any time without prior notification.
  • All trademarks, service marks and trade names in our online and e-learning material are the marks of the respective owners and any un-authorised use is prohibited.
  • If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions you must cease to use the online or e-learning product immediately.
