Cynnal Cymru hold a variety of networking events throughout the year, aiming to provide exciting opportunities to connect, collaborate and share new developments with like minds. From our monthly Networking Lunches to our Sustain Wales Summit, each event is held in partnership with our Members, supporters and sponsors.
Each month we co-host our networking lunches in partnership with one of our members. Each lunch is held in a different venue and location across Wales. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase a variety of organisations as well as an opportunity for you to connect with sustainability professionals from across Wales.
The lunches usually take place on the first Wednesday of every month and we provide a delicious vegan and vegetarian lunch for up to 20 attendees and help to manage and promote the event. In return our event partners provide a space and refreshments.
Our lunches are FREE for Members and new attendees, and we charge a small fee to everyone else.
We recently held a lunch in Newport with BIPVco. where guests enjoyed a short presentation before being given an exclusive tour of the factory in Newport, where they got to see first hand the different manufacturing stages of their innovative thin film technology.
Previous lunches have been held with Ballet Cymru, WWF Cymru, Constructing Excellence in Wales, The Art of Sustainability, Plas Kynaston Canal Group and are keen to hold similar lunches with other groups.
So please get in contact if you are interested in sponsoring and hosting a lunch and we’ll help you promote across our network.
Green Drinks is a collaborative networking event launched in partnership with Renewable UK Cymru in 2016. Our aim is to provide exciting opportunities to connect, collaborate and share new developments with like minds.
Our first event was held in October 2016 in partnership with Blake Morgan in their fantastic new offices in One Central Square, bringing together over 50 business leaders, innovators, community pioneers and entrepreneurs.
Building on this success we have since partnered with:
ARUP in Cardiff Bay for our Christmas Green Drinks with speakers from ARUP, Amber Energy, Griot Creative and Aurora Lighting
Acuity Legal for our Spring Green Drinks in March 2017 in the Life Sciences Hub in Cardiff Bay
Bangor University for our North Wales Shared Learning & Networking Lunch with a focus on Food & Drink
United Purpose for our Autumn Green drinks with special guest, Jane Davidson – former Minister and now Director of INSPIRE at Trinity St. Davids University of Wales.
