New home for Invest in Nature resources as the service comes to a close

The Invest in Nature service run by WCVA closed on 31 March 2019 after three and a half years of supporting community action on the environment in Wales.

After a brilliant 3.5 years of events, webinars, resources and engagement to support community action on the environment, the Invest in Nature (formerly Environet) service run by WCVA closed on 31 March 2019. The service was made possible by Welsh Government funding that has now come to an end.

WCVA will continue influencing work on the Well-Being of Future Generations Act, with resources and information available here. The information and resources developed by the Invest in Nature team on Climate Change and Greening your Organisation will be maintained by Cynnal Cymru – Sustain Wales, Wales’s sustainable development charity and Wales Biodiversity Partnership will host the Making Space for Nature webpages.

Lynsey from Cynnal Cymru said:

“Cynnal Cymru is proud to have supported the Invest in Nature/ Environet project over the years and we have really enjoyed working with the team. It is sad to see such a great project end but we are pleased to be able to ensure the resources and toolkits produced by Clare and Chloe continue to be made available online.”

Invest in Nature would like to thank everyone who contributed ideas, advice, stories, expertise and wisdom during the Invest in Nature project. Please don’t forget to take a look at our resources before they find their new homes.
