Fuel Poverty Awareness Day

Fuel Poverty Awareness Day

Fuel Poverty Awareness Day is taking place on 27th February. The aim of the day is to raise awareness of the problem of fuel poverty which affects 1 in 3 households in Wales.

The day is part of a national campaign by fuel poverty charity National Energy Action. NEA will use the day to highlight to government some of our key asks by launching its ‘Manifesto for Warmth’ ahead of the General Elections taking place in May 2015.

NEA is keen for members and other sympathetic organisations and individuals to support the day any way they can and help demonstrate the strength of feeling on this issue as well as the excellent work being undertaken to tackle fuel poverty across the country.

More information on how to support Fuel Poverty Awareness day can be found here.
