Towards Zero Waste - the overarching waste strategy for Wales - was published in June 2010 and it set the Welsh Government ambitions for a high recycling society across all sectors by 2025 and to become a zero waste society by 2050.
As part of this a plan is currently being developed for industry and commerce in Wales, which will focus on how businesses can prevent waste in the first instance, and then reuse and recycle more.
Delegates from across the Welsh waste and resource sector are invited to influence the development of this plan.
This is also an opportunity to find out how Welsh Government, with industry, is proposing to ensure that more waste is collected and is treated sustainably for the benefit of Wales.
