09 February | Living Wage Research Findings
Cynnal Cymru are delighted to have recently been announced as the official accreditation body for the Living Wage in Wales. Ensuring people take home a decent income which means they can meet their basic needs, is central to developing a more sustainable society in Wales.
The Living Wage recognises and celebrates the leadership shown by Living Wage employers across the UK. We are at the heart of an independent movement of businesses and people that believe a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay. We support responsible employers to voluntarily pay the Living Wage so their employees can earn enough to meet the cost of living.
Professor Ed Heery from Cardiff University Business School has been undertaking research into the impact of the Living Wage across the UK and in Wales. This short seminar will look at findings from research undertaken with businesses who have chosen to become Living Wage employers.
This seminar is free and open to all who are interested in find out more about the Living Wage and will be beneficial to both current Living Wage employers and those organisations wanting to find out more about the Living Wage.
