02 – 05 November | Wales Climate Week
This month, we are looking forward to taking part in the Welsh Government’s Wales Climate Week from 2-5 November. Don’t forget to register online and make a pledge to fight against Wales’ climate emergency and help create a Low Carbon Wales.
As part of the week we will be holding our first ‘Greening the Screen’ event on the 5 November with Clwstwr. Clwstwr provide specialist research and development support for the screen and news industry and this event will be exploring how the screen industry in Wales can reach net zero emissions.
We will also be running our distance learning Carbon Literacy course from 2-5 November. To date we are proud to have trained over 400 employed people in Carbon Literacy, and established Carbon Literacy consortiums with 27 Welsh housing associations, Flexis, TUC Cymru and Museum Wales. This has accelerated under lockdown with our courses moving online and we are really excited to be developing a new online platform that will enable more collaborative and accessible learning…watch this space!
Further information will be available on he Welsh Government website soon about how you can get involved
In the meantime, you can submit your ideas for Wales Climate Week by completing the Wales Climate Week survey.
