DriveElectric are the UK’s leading provider of specialist EV leasing and support services, helping businesses and individuals make a seamless transition towards zero carbon transport since 2008.  Through EV leasing, vehicle trials and driver engagement programmes, DriveElectric have successfully delivered more than 1,000 plug-in vehicles to market, generating cost-savings for clients across fuel, Congestion Charge and taxation, as well as contributing a significant CO2 reduction.

DriveElectric  have delivered pioneering research projects to investigate the effects of mass EV charging on the energy supply infrastructure and seek innovation in the electric vehicle charging and energy demand management sector, focusing on cloud-based vehicle to grid smart-charging technologies.

The Electric Nation project is currently trialling a smart charging solution between domestic charge points and the local electricity network to help the grid manage the charging needs of an increased number of electric vehicles without the cost and disruption of upgrading local electricity infrastructure. 700 EV owners in the Western Power Distribution area will be participating during the project’s 18-month run, making it the world’s largest ever EV trial project.

In Summer 2018 DriveElectric will make V2G technology available to homes and workplaces across the UK, enabling EV owners to support renewable energy, reduce emissions and let their vehicle earn them rewards.
